Austin McClymonds

A recent graduate of the Penn State Architectural Engineering Program (Construction Option). Austin completed his bachelor’s at the end of May and achieve his master’s at the end of the summer of 2019. Austin has been involved with student organizations such as Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence (PACE), Student Society of Architectural Engineering (SSAE), and Penn State University Car Club (PSUCC). In his 5th year, Austin participated in the AEI Student Design Competition. He has served as a teaching assistant for various AE courses over his time at Penn State including the Study Abroad Program in China.


Austin has worked for the Foreman Group located in Zelienople, Butler County, PA for the past few years as a construction management intern, following projects from the preconstruction phase to closeout. He has also worked for Albion Residential on a multimillion-dollar renovation project. Austin enjoys working on his Ford Fusion in his free time to make it the perfect car. Austin is currently starting his Ph.D. research with a focus in robotics in construction.
