Yuming Zhang is a Ph.D. student in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture in 2021. She received her master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2022. Her research focuses mainly on VR for human-robot interaction training. Besides research, she also has interest in psychology and hiking.
