Dr. Habibnezhad received his Ph.D. in construction engineering and management from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (UNL) in August 2019. He earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering and first M.S. in Structural Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. During his Ph.D. program at UNL, he obtained his second M.S. in Computer Science as well. His research topics are mainly concentrated on advanced mixed reality modeling for human-robot interaction, high-level virtual avatar simulation for investigating the role of elevation above grade on falling, design of neurophysiological tests to measure task performance in destabilizing environment, and use of computer vision and robotics for construction automation. In his spare time, he enjoys reading about new technologies and cooking new recipes.
